Pisak is a small town on the Omis Riviera, 40 km south west of Split and 18 north km from Makarska. Pisak lies in a bay and has sandy, pebble and rocky beaches, suitable for families with children and water sports. You can rent boats, diving, sailing and surfing. In the evening you can visit restaurants and taverns, and domestic prepared fish. Pisak harbor is full of small, intimate restaurants of various kinds of dishes and provides daily local sea specialties. Small markets for food and daily needs are in the center of the small village.
If you are in Pisak, make sure to visit Vrulje springs and refreshing yourself with cold, drinking water. Vrulje is only one mile from village of Pisak is wonderfull bay, a natural phenomena of fresh water welling from sea bottom, and a lot of small pebble and beaches, big enough for two people at the time. Larger stores are in the neighbouring village Mimice (3 km), Brela (6 km), Baska Voda (10 km). Pisak is a small and peaceful settlement, once a fishermen's port and now a modern tourist destination.
